Benefits of studio product photography:

Control: In a studio, the photographer has complete control over the lighting, background, and other elements of the scene. This allows for precise and consistent results.

Excellent course for beginners, group sizes are perfect for this level. Lucie was great, very patient and supportive! Lots of opportunity to try new skills and understand equipment. Good length of time too, not long enough to be too much info. Great value for the content. Will look to do others in the future.

Really enjoyed the beginners course, I wasn't sure how a 3 hour session would feel but it was well timed with plenty of time for explanation and practical activity. I feel like I learned so much within the session. Lucie is a fantastic instructor, and able to explain concepts in simple terms when I didn't quite understand. Looking forward to booking onto further courses.

Title or Location: St Andrews Church, Farleigh Wallop
The inspirationally peaceful St Andrews church dates back to the 17th century. When built, it was at the centre of the original site of the village of Farleigh Wallop, however the surrounding houses were destroyed during the civil war. As a result the church is now beautifully isolated. It stands on its own at the top of the hill, surrounded by fields. It is only accessible via a footpath and provides the most tranquil of settings for calming even the busiest of minds. Photo taken on LUMIX DMC F

My aim for this image was to capture a long exposure of the winter sunburst through the arch of Durdle Door. After a previous failed attempt before Christmas this was my last real chance due to work commitments to capture this shot. This shot is only available for 3/4 weeks either side of the winter solstice on the 21st December, so I set off last Thursday morning at around 5am for the hour and a half drive to the Dorset coast. The car park was closed so left me with a 30 min walk to get down

First off, I have to say that I am not a "Birder". But I love challenging my photographic skills and abilities. The American Kestrel is not a big bird, and it is fast. So even when you know its takeoff is imminent, it is still hard to get a nice clear photo of the bird. This particular image was shot with a Canon R6 camera, with the RF100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens at 1/5000 sec, f/7.1 and ISO 4000. This one took a bit of planning to catch the Milky Way in the place I wanted, the Weather, Moon, and Milky Way core all had to be right and as you might guess it took a few seasons for it to come together, every time it was a walk in the dark over the sand dunes from Pennard to get to the right spot on the cliff edge, I'm a little picky when it comes to star trails and although there are certain formulas for shutter speed to "visibly" limit star trails I'd rather have none, so I dragged my Star
